I Am Having So Much Fun!

My MiMi and Mommy brought me to a playground today. I loved it!!

My Auntie C read me some books while she was visiting. I wish we had gotten to visit longer.

Let It Snow

We always look out of the big window in the living room at puppy dogs that pass, rain and snow.

John and I went outside to see the snow.

We got about 5 inches of snow.

John had a good time on his rocking horse.

John was on stage for his Christmas program. Bella was the only one who rang her bell. John held his and looked at everyone in the audience.

Santa rides through our neighborhood every year on a fire engine. They ring the siren and Santa gives out candy canes.

Christmas

Christmas Eve we went to John Paul's moms condo. This is John with his three cousins.

John loves puzzles!

He also loves his MiMi, Elmo and Sesame Street!

John really got the hang of opening presents.

After eating a very good meal, John is lounging with Uncle Russ.

John was happy when we got home. He was jumping on and hugging his lion chair. I though he looked cute!

Early Halloween

Today John's school celebrated Halloween. They picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and played in the hay. After nap time they dressed up and everyone went on a Halloween parade. We went to some businesses next to his school and went trick or treating with the bag he had made from earlier. John wasn't so sure about trick or treating and seemed confused until he got Dum Dums. ( one of his favorites!) After the parade we had a HAlloween party and he ate a cupcake, fruit cup and had some juice. He had fun and waved to everyone when we left.

Feeling Better

John was pretty sick last week, but as you can see he is feeling better now. He stayed home today and liked his Halloween pajamas so much that he didn't want to take them off until 1:00 today.

My Sick Boy

John has been sick for a week now with a respiratory virus. We were sitting on the floor together and before I knew it he laid down and went to sleep. I wish he had fallen asleep on the sofa or his bed, but I am not about to potenially wake him up to move him. He has not been very happy about being sick.

Family Carnival

John's school had Family Carnivel today to say goodbye to summer. John got a dog painted on his face, a smiley face on his hand, and he filled an elephant up with sand and wore it around his neck. There was a dunking booth that John thought was hysterical. He tried three times and wasn't able to dunk the owner of the school. Someone else did dunk him and John got wet and loved it! There were some games he played and he won some tickets and got a prize when he left. All three of us had fun!

Naptime

John started going to school all day this week. He goes to sleep easily there and sleeps for about 2 hours. He stayed home with me today and I thought and hoped that he would nap easily for me. Instead, he went around his room collecting every stuffed animal and bringing them to his bed. He was very happy!

The Sandman finally got the best of him.

Snack Time

Snack time...mmm... hummus is good!


All finished.. time to clean the hummus off of John's hands.

Now on to pudding... mmm... that's good too! (He only had 2 bites of pudding.)

John's Summer Adventures

John and I recently visited New Orleans. After John and his Nanny got their eyes checked at the Children's Museum, they found they both needed glasses. Don't they look cute?

John put his face in the bubbles. I can't imagine that they tasted good.

The most fun that John had at the Children's Museum was in the grocery store. He put 3 gallons of Blue Bell ice cream in his basket, a giant lobster, 2 huge fish, a box of something and a whole chicken. He was selective in what he wanted and very funny!

John very much enjoyed a strawberry snoball. Mmm Mmm good!

He was red all over and gleefully happy.

He played in the hose with his cousins at his Lita's house. Playing in the hose is one of his favorite things to do!

He decided that he does like the pool. He had fun in the kiddie pool near our house. He found a pail and was entertained with filling it up and dumping out the water.
