Having Fun

While in New Orleans, we drove today to see Nanny, Uncle Russ and Harrison.

We went to the park and fed the ducks. Afterwards, John loved playing on the playground.

John was surrounded by ducks after we fed them.

Some of the ducks came running down the sidewalk when they saw us and most importantly..the popcorn.

We had a good visit with Lita.

MiMi had this very fun motorcycle for John to ride on. It didn't take long for John to become a pro at riding it.

We got John a swingset. John helped his Daddy put it together.

Making progress... John will be swinging in no time!

Our Future Artist

A few weeks ago John found a pencil and decided to do his masterpiece on our living room wall.

Today there was a garage sale around the corner form us. They had a easel for sale. I thought maybe this would entice him to draw on paper and the chalkboard instead of our walls!

Outside Fun

While we did some yard work today, John had fun playing outside. He stopped to pose for this picture.

He rode his bike up and down the sidewalk and driveway. You might notice the teal colored socks he is wearing. He chose what color socks he was going to wear. Earlier he was wearing orange shorts. He also chose those. Now that he is two he has opinions about his clothes.

John found my camera on the porch. He knows how to turn it on and work it. He took this picture. He got it pretty straight!

Yesterday we were going to meet John Paul and some of his co-workers for lunch. I ran upstairs for two minutes. When I came downstairs, John had fallen asleep sitting up on the sofa. I got him a small pillow and blanket and let him sleep. John slept for three hours. We will have to meet them for lunch another time.
