John and Abigail

It was not easy getting this picture of John. He was a squirmy worm.

Lagniappe

I walked into the utility room and I didn't see John. However, I had not seen him come out of that room. I called his name and it turns out he had climbed into the dryer and was sitting in it. I had the camera close by and snapped a picture. I'm still not sure what gave him the thought to sit in the dryer.

John got a gift card to Build A Bear Workshop for his birthday from Kim. He spent a lot of time deciding and ultimately chose an alligator. He was very excited and liked watching the process of making him. I took advantage of everyone being together and took this picture. It took a few tries, but this one came good.

Our Big Three Year Old

John and Harrison had their birthday party together at Metairie Playground. John had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the party.

The four generations.

An action picture from the party.

Don't cry Harrison.. it's cake time!

On John's actual birthday, we celebrated at the aquarium.

Mommy and the birthday boy.

That night we sang and he had a cupcake. Mmm.

Open the Tunnel.. Here Comes Some Rice Cereal

Hmmm... I wonder if Abigail will like that rice cereal?

Yep.. She does. We gave Abigail her first taste of rice cereal on February 25th. She made some funny faces but ultimately she liked it.

While in New Orleans, we went to visit Uncle Al and Aunt Diane. This is an action shot, but I liked it.

Abigail's Baptism

Abigail wore my Baptism gown for her Baptism. She slept through the Baptism and was really good in church.

John was making sweet eyes.

Hey, Throw Me Something Mister!

We went to some parades the Saturday before Mardi Gras. John liked catching beads and stuffed animals!
John Paul's grandmother flew in from Costa Rica to spend some time in New Orleans. We were so happy to see her. Since it doesn't happen to often, we took advantage and took a picture of the whole family.

MiMi, Nanny and Harrison came too. Harrison stuck with John Paul a lot of the time.

Abigail bonded with her Bis Abuela.

Mommy and Abigail

This is from a different day. Abigail's taking a little siesta.

Cowboy John

John found these two hats in the playroom and put them on. He had fun trying them on.

Abigail looks a bit serious here, but still cute.

We were in the kitchen and John walked in and was taking pictures with my camera. He took this picture. It was really funny if you were there in the moment. He took a pretty good picture!
